Every year someone is sick on Easter Sunday. I think that since we have had kids, we have only had one or two Sundays where we all made it to church…this year was one of them. We like to think of it as an Easter miracle!
We had a great time on Friday dying eggs with our good friends…then hunting eggs Saturday at church, where Kiley found the Prize Egg! She was on a mission to find it and it was so cute watching her pass eggs by on her hunt for the Prize. There is a lesson there for me! I get easily distracted by the little things sometimes….when I need to keep my eye on the prize! We enjoyed Jim and Edie coming to the church to celebrate…and Kiley decorated cookies for them. Molly really did enjoy the hunt, this is just one of her many expressions. I think it was, “hurry up, the sun is in my eyes…(and now that I am 10 do you really have to get my picture???”
On Sunday we went to church, all nine of us! Then we joined David’s parents and our friends the Logans for a great Easter lunch and Egg Hunt at David’s parents house. The weather was perfect, the company pleasant and the day relaxed…we all enjoyed the gift of being together and the gift of celebrating Jesus’s death and Ressurrection together.
I know it is several weeks later, but sometimes pictures get “lost” in my camera, so I am just now posting about a wonderful day. I hope you all had a great Easter, too.

Stunning pictures of your Easter celebration. You have a beautiful family.
I want to thank you for leaving your very kind comment.. I always wonder if I am posting things that are too personal somehow and a comment like yours just gives me the extra courage to keep being honest.
And thank you for the great tips – I LOVE candles and burn them quite often. Hmmm.. And Sam has been on soy milk for about two years now. Double Hmmmm..
Lastly, pick several bloggers that you would like to pass on the awards to (together or separately), list them in your post with a link to their blogs ( you will need to leave them a comment or notify them of the award), copy the questions that I answered and answer them for us all to get to know you a little better.
Thank you again friend.
What great photos. Your family has grown so much. We miss you and think of you all the time. Kevin and I were taking a walk today and were reminiscing about days in
Sippersfeld. What great memories.
Precious!!
