This morning I have been playing around with Etsy. I have discovered a lot of cool tools to help with selling on etsy.com and I am excited at the possibilities. However, I am guessing that in order to put any of the cool things I have learned, I actually need to list some things in my etsy shop! So, here is my Etsy To Do List. Do you have one? What is on yours? Anything I have missed?
1. Get Creative….Create
2. Take GREAT pictures
3. Edit, using piknic, a web based free photo editing tool that I have recently discovered and fallen in love with!
4. LIST, LIST, LIST…but not all at once. My friend, Megan at sweetsadiemarie.com tells me that listing periodically is a great way to let lots of people see you come up in the searches over time on etsy. So I am listening to her.
5. Utilize some of the tricks learned today at etsyhacks.com and statsy.org to help me in my sales.
6. Work on my branding ideas so that my logo, packaging, communication with buyers and products all have a similar look and identity. Not a sameness, but a feeling. A “wow” about them. This is something I have a hard time with, because I LOVE a “wow”, but my life is more of a “gotta get this done before I run get that done….” and somehow that is NOT what I want to convey on my cute little outfit. –or maybe it is! hmmm, outfits for the “hurry-up” toddlers….
7. I am out of ideas. Send me some.
8. Do I continue to list things I have made before, like my quilts and my jeans or do I do something totally new? Or some of each?

i LOVE the new look of your blog! i didn't even read this post (although it's perfect for the project i'm about to undertake!) i just had to tell you that i love love love it!
You need a gallery with all the cute things you have created. BTW-did you ever send me an invoice?? Reagan didn't get to wear her new outfit BUT not b/c it wasn't here on time. I thought the mail had ran for the day but it hadn't so I just thought maybe it was late. THEN, I noticed the mailbox kinda open and THERE it was
I love it though. We will have a photo session soon-I'll have to take her somewhere fun to make it an event:)
