It may happen like this everywhere, but I love life in these NC mountains! David came home from work telling me about the computer guys that come in for coffee some (okay, maybe more than some…). Turns out they are developing and setting up wireless internet for people who live in the mountains. COOL. Because sometimes it is hard to get a signal. Really. Because a mountain is in the way.
Anyway, they also work on and sell computers. Now, we have been looking at computers and while I really have been drooling over a macbook and all the adobe creative software….I am still working on a snail that is about 6 years old. So, any upgrade is an upgrade if you know what I mean! David and I went to visit the computer guys and now I can post from just about anywhere on my new little netbook! I will be telling you how much I like it, or don’t as I get to know it better. Last night I got to use it for two minutes before the kids took over, so I guess I will have to come up with some sharing rules! 
I do love how living here in these mountains has its benefits….and sometimes they work out for me.
